Here’s a look at Boston restaurants celebrating milestones.

When you work in the restaurant business long enough, you see some stuff.

“I’ve had to pick people up off the floor sometimes,” says Dawn Salvi, the longtime event and floor manager at Sonsie in the Back Bay. “I’ve had to escort people out.”

She just so happens to be a professional wrestler and a graduate of Killer Kowalski’s school of wrestling, but she’s better known as a smiling face — and a no-nonsense gatekeeper — at the twinkly Newbury Street bistro, celebrating its 30th anniversary this month. (She says the interventions are few and far between, although the Globe did report on a drink-throwing incident between two socialites when the restaurant debuted.)
