You might be wondering why one of our customers has written a song about us? Or why so many of our customers take photos in El Pelon shirts when they travel the world?

We think it has to do with the fact that we treat everyone that walks through our doors like family. Because they are, to us. And because of that, we make sure their meals are real authentic – and real good – every time. We use only the freshest ingredients, we keep prices affordable, and we supply healthy portions. After all, what’s family for?

And we’re proud of our story

We opened shop in 1998, when Jim (the bald guy, also known as our fearless leader) decided to introduce his take on Mexican cuisine to the Beantown food scene. We started in Fenway, and by 2010 we had opened our second location on Comm Ave., over by Boston College. We’ve kept it real, and we’ve had some pretty fun times along the way. And we’re not stopping anytime soon. So, stop in and be a part of the story.
