Boston Calling 2019: Here’s all the food coming to this year’s music festival

Boston Calling Music Festival is returning next month for its 10th year, bringing with it a food and drink lineup that includes everything from award-winning barbecue to a raw bar sourced directly from the Atlantic.
New to this year’s general admission food offerings is Sweet Cheeks Q — a popular barbecue joint in the Fenway area — that will serve up favorites like smoked hot chicken Philly cheese steaks and the Fluffernutter Garbage Sundae, as well as Cafe Beatrice, a new pop-up restaurant from the owner of Cambridge’s Puritan & Co. that will serve roasted pork, provolone and broccoli rabe, and prosciutto, pepper, fig and burrata sandwiches.
Stuffed by Papi is also a new addition to the bill, offering its signature Sopapillas, while the locally acclaimed food truck, Boston Trolley Dogs, rolls in with the Duke, its popular beef hot dog topped with relish, onion and deli mustard.
The festival’s 30 vendors also include sandwiches from Roxy’s Grilled Cheese, pasta from Arancini Brothers, Tasty Burger and The Chubby Chickpea.
Platinum ticket holders will be treated to specialty evening menus, including a Greek menu from two-time James Beard Award-winning chef Jody Adams of Trade, Porto and Saloniki.
Jamie Bissonnette, another James Beard Award winner, will curate Saturday’s menu featuring a Foie bratwurst with Japanese Flavors, a lamb, bacon and lettuce wrap station, fried chicken sands and an Impossible burger.
Sunday night’s menu closes the festival with a classic northeastern seafood spread from Jeremy Sewall, chef and partner of Island Creek Oyster Bar and Row 34.
Drinks include beer from Samuel Adams, which returns this year with three summer staples, as well as Barefoot wines and craft brews from Mikkeller Brewing.
Boston Calling will be headlined by Twenty-One Pilots, Tame Impala and Travis Scott. It takes place from May 24 to 26.
